Something wonderful is happening in the tropical rainforests of Tumaco, southern Colombia. There, a group of savvy, young farmers are partnering with the local university to revitalize and spread native varieties of cacao, turning it into a totally sublime, sustainable crop that provides a future for their families and fights for change. At Hummingbird, they consider it a delicious privilege to make chocolate with these beans.
