Red Onion Marmalade
Hawkshead Red Onion Marmalade has been made for over twenty years and the recipe has changed only slightly. The red onions are slowly cooked in balsamic vinegar creating a deep and rich flavour. Pair this with a strong Lancashire cheese.
Founded in 1999, the family behind Hawkshead Relish started out making relishes, pickles and preserves for their busy Lakeland café using locally sourced ingredients and traditional recipes. Made by hand using traditional open pans, without artificial flavourings, colours or additives, this range is both gluten free and nut free and suitable for most diets.
