Jacobsons Annual Hunt for the Golden Egg is on!

All donations collected will to go the Boys and Girls Club Ottawa.

In collaboration with several incredible local producers and artisans, the 2023 Golden Egg Hunt is on! This year, we are on the search for 5 (five) good eggs in our community. Nominate someone special for a chance to win one of five  Easter Baskets! 

Help us do good for goodness sake by hopping over to True Loaf, Nat’s Bread and Jacobsons to make a donation and nominate someone special.

Simply make a donation at any participating retailer (listed above) and tell us a little bit about your good egg. Five special winners will be drawn at random and the lucky winners will be contacted to arrange delivery of the prize basket. 

On the Hunt for Someone Special

From now through April 5th, 2023, guests who leave a donation for the Boys and Girls Club Ottawa will be invited to nominate a local person for a chance to win a special Easter Basket. Five lucky nominees will have their names drawn and be named our golden eggs! 

If you're shopping online, you may add a donation to your order, and if you're shopping in store, our team can collect your donation at check out.

The Boys and Girls Club Ottawa 

A local charity, the Boys and Girls Club Ottawa (BGCO) provides programming for children and youth across Ottawa. Through their work, they offer safe, supportive places for all kids and teens to experience new opportunities, overcome barriers and develop important life skills.

Win an Easter Basket

Nominate someone special for a chance to win a gourmet gift basket filled to the local goodies and gourmet foods fit for an Easter feast - many of which were donated by our incredible local producers. Each gift basket, valued at approx. $250, includes artisan treats from Anna Stubbe, Gibbs Honey, Hummingbird Chocolate, Jacobsons Fine Foods, Nat's Bread, Ministry of Coffee, Seed to Sausage, True Loaf Bakery, Top Shelf Preserves, Trexity, and more! 

The Trexity Easter bunny will be delivering the boxes to the lucky winning nominees on Thursday, April 6, 2023. 

Each gift basket, valued at approx. $250, contains an assortment of seasonal delights and artisan treats from some of our favourite local artisans, including:

How to Nominate your Good Egg(s)

To nominate someone special, you must first make a donation of $5 or more to the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa. There is no limit to the number of times an individual can be nominated, however the lucky winner must be in our local delivery area for Easter to receive their prize basket.

Please note, to claim your prize, you must:

• Be nominated through our Golden Egg Hunt fundraiser
• Provide us with a local address for delivery   

Due to the nature of the products, we cannot offer any substitutions. Additionally, there is no cash value associated with the Easter Gift Baskets - they are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Jacobsons reserves the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if necessary.
