Garcia Estate 72% Bar

Garcia Estate is farmed by Joseph Garcia and sits in north central Trinidad. Mr. Garcia was part of Trinidad's Microlot Farmer Development Program, a program that trains and assists small holder cacao farmers in the production of fine flavoured cacao.

Not too long after the program began, a number of these farms gained international acclaim by earning a place in the Top 20 cacao beans in the world as judged by the Cacao of Excellence Program in Paris.

Desbarres were able to secure a few bags of the Garcia Estate 2023 spring harvest and loved that it promised a floral note, something new to their cacao libary of tastes. It delivers! This complex cacao offers floral notes, over a base of nutty roastiness or tobacco.
