Le Fleurmier de Charlevoix
From top-quality milk sourced from local herds to the savoir-faire of its artisan cheesemakers, Laiterie Charlevoix are renowned for their finesse. The seven Labbé brothers – the grand-children of the dairy’s founding fathers ‒ now run the business which, aside from its traditional Cheddar, also produces several other fine cheeses.
Le Fleurmier is a soft cheese with a bloomy rind produced using cow's milk from Vallée du Gouffre herds in Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec. Boasting a rich and velvety texture and a fruity, nutty flavour, this cheese only improves with age, developing no bitterness.
This cheese can be savoured on any occasion, in the morning on toast or at the end the meal with a glass of your favourite red wine.
