Petit Gres Cremant d'Alsace
Recognizable by the fern leaf garnishing its dusky orange rind, the Petit Grès d’Alsace comes to us from the the iconic terroir of eastern France. Hand-formed and ripened in the cellars of an Alastian vineyard for a fortnight, this cheese is washed once or twice with a lightly salted brine. The day before wrapping, they are washed one last time with an authentic AOP Crémant d'Alsace giving the cheese a fruity aroma with a soft, robust paste.
A truly stunning and unique addition to any cheeseboard, this cheese pairs well with Alsatian wines such as Gewurztraminer, Riesling or Pinot Gris.
