An ashy, soft-ripened cheese made with whole milk from a single herd of Saanen goats, Grey Owl is a beauty to behold. The ash endows the cheese with a wrinkly, dark, slate-coloured edible rind that offers a pleasant, pungent aroma. The interior paste is dense, crumbly and creamy, softening at the edges.
