Grand Camembert Domaine de Beaulac
Camembert made from raw milk, molded manually with a ladle... This could be the motto of Fromagerie Réo, who have preserved the tradition of making AOP Camembert for more than eighty years in the heart of Normandy.
Established in 1931, the Réo dairy uses milk mainly from cows raised between the sea and countryside. This milk, rich in the flavors of the exceptional local terroir, is then transformed into this special camembert made exclusively for the Canadian market.
Aromatic and unctuous, Domaine de Bealuac is best enjoyed with paste and rind in the same bite. Mild and salty when young, as it ripens its bloomy rind turns light brown and its paste becomes wonderfully pronounced with a spicy, salty and vegetal finish. One of our cheesemongers favourites!
