Greek Feta PDO
Known as the white gold of Greece, Feta is a traditional cheese made of sheep and goat's milk that has been produced for thousands of years. Presented in brine, with an opaque, semi-soft white paste, this salty, delicious cheese has innumerous uses and is deeply embedded in the culture of its originating country.
Awarded its coveted P.D.O. status in 2002, Greek Feta is exported - and often imitated - on the world stage. However, true Greek feta can only be produced in defined regions that sustain the necessary climate and terrain.
This version is produced by the Hotos family and made exclusively from 100% fresh pasteurized sheep and goat milk. Tangy and rich with a balanced salt, crumble your Feta into salads, bake into puff pastry, or grill until golden brown and drizzle with honey for a salty-sweet dessert.
