Tomme de Chevre au Muscadet
Originating in the southern Pyrenees mountains, this tomme de chèvre comes to us from Maillezais diary cooperative, Union Laitière Venise Verte (or ULVV for short). Located in the Vendée region of France, they have been producing artisan cheese of quality for over thirty years.
Washed in Muscadet wine for four months, this cheese has an aromatic, peachy-orange rind. Cutting into it reveals a semi-firm ivory paste with clean citrus notes and a creamy, nutty finish. Perfect for raclette!
