Known for their premium ice cream, Cows Creamery of P.E.I. did not venture into the artisan cheese world until 2006 when company owner Scott Linkletter visited Scotland and brought home with him a recipe for clothbound cheddar. An impressive line of Canadian cheddars - and accolades - soon followed.
This award winning two-year old cheddar from Cow's Creamery in P.E.I is naturally smoked over an eight-hour period, wrapping the cheese in appletree smoke that produces a mouth-wateringly full flavour.
